Frances started 388CREATES (388) seeking to support the needs of creatives by merging creativity with holistic approaches to close the gaps she has become aware of in her experiences within the creative industries. Supporting artists to look at themselves as a whole and equip them with the tools to fully understand themselves and their needs to support them in their journey towards a sustainable creative career.
Through merging creativity with holistic health and wellbeing I want to supporting artists to look at themselves as a whole and equip them with the tools to fully understand themselves and their needs to support them in their journey towards a sustainable creative career. 388 aims to drive the development of the infrastructure here in Scotland allowing creatives to find sustainable pathways into the industry through being able to look after their best interests across all areas.

Frances is a neurodivergent creative, born and bred in Glasgow who has navigated the industry battling barriers that come with living with invisible conditions, she is passionate about access and cultivating change through the power of togetherness. Recently been working on the ground to support misrepresentation for creatives in underrepresented genres/mediums/groups in Scotland, supporting them to access funds, with aim of cultivating change. “My duty is to support and nurture artists to awaken their creativity, reach their full potential and bridge the gap from hobby to profession, using my skills and a holistic approach to encourage authenticity and foster self-empowerment”
